Shifting Years Coaches
Eva Dubois
A Certified Menopause Coach, Eva works as hard as her clients and their dedication and trust in her is proof. She helps clients get the most from their workouts, provides instructional videos, emotional support and guidance.
Eva opened her first martial arts school and adjoining gym in a strip shopping center in Fort Worth, Texas in 1991 while also working full time as a surgical nurse. While the location of the school and gym changed as it got bigger, Eva’s dedication to helping people feel good about themself by achieving something they’d always dreamed of never wavered.
She’s been a dedicated weightlifter since her junior high days and ran track in high school. An incident in a parking lot after work at the county hospital led to her martial arts training and only enhanced her desire to empower and help others. This spirit drives her to this day and is the foundation of the coaching she brings to her clients.
In 2018 she combined her 27-years of teaching martial arts and fitness with 22-years of surgical nursing experience and founded Shifting Years Health & Fitness. The desire to help people achieve their full potential joined the never wavering mantra of giving clients the information she wished she’d been given while always treating them in a manner she’d wish to be treated herself to form the foundation of the new company.
She’s coached hundreds of clients across the globe, including over 300 as a contract coach for Legion, and she’s honed her skills designing custom workout programs, meal plans and used her vast experience in orthopedics and martial arts to help clients overcome past injuries. She’s led numerous clients to weight loss of over 30 pounds and helped multiple clients stop taking blood pressure and Type-2 diabetes medication.
Eva has owned martial arts schools with adjoining weightlifting gyms since early 1991, has taught over 1,800 students and brought 15 students through the grueling 4+ year process from white belt to black belt. She’s been the first assistant for over 15,000 surgeries over her 22-year career ranging from orthopedic surgeries such as knee and hip replacements, shoulder reconstructions and complex revision surgeries - including professional athletes - through emergency surgeries at a Level 1 trauma center.
Master Eva is a 6th Dan black belt in Jidokwan - one of the original nine schools of martial arts founded in Korea at the end of World War II that later became Taekwondo. She’s a multiple time Texas state champion, has won over 31 black belt Grand Championships in both fighting and forms and owned Texas Taekwondo Academy from 1991 through 2020 when she finally retired from teaching.
Eva loves helping people feel good about themselves whether it’s helping them achieve the things that have eluded them for so long or just being there for them. She’s always honored that they’ve chosen her to walk the path with them and is a friend to everyone she’s coached or taught.

Henry M. Dubois
Specializing in body transformations for professionals and executives dealing with stress, frequent travel and past injuries requiring modification to exercise and movement patterns.
Henry’s journey to professional coach started when he combined a passion for teaching with the lessons learned from years of experience as a working professional. A fitness enthusiast with a love of sports since childhood, he began instructing students in the early-2000’s in the time-honored tradition of passing down knowledge from one generation of martial artists to the next. His love of helping others has only grown.
He has decades of experience in fitness and has played numerous sports including baseball, golf, tennis, football, cycling, weightlifting and martial arts. He combined the attention to detail he developed in his career in aviation, software development and management with the enjoyment he received helping coworkers avoid the mistakes he made in his fitness journey.
In 2018, the drive to give clients the advice he wished he had received led he and Eva to found Shifting Years Health & Fitness. The business combined years of professional working experience and teaching in the martial arts with the simple idea that the needs of client would always be first.
Henry has coached hundreds worldwide - including over 300 as a contract coach for Legion - and has used the organizational skills he developed as a working professional to educate and help clients build a lifestyle that produces the desired results as an automatic outcome. As a 3rd Dan black belt in Jidokwan Taekowndo - one of the original nine Korean marital arts schools - he was Eva’s Associate Chief Instructor at Texas Taekwondo Academy until retiring from martial arts due to injury.
A career professional who understands extensive business travel, meetings and dinners with clients as well as the responsibility of family, Henry works hard to help clients integrate their responsibilities into a system that drives excellent results while still allowing them to enjoy life, have great times with family and friends while not having to worry about ruining the results of their hard work.
His firm belief that it’s not just possible to enjoy life - but a requirement - drives him to educate clients and empower them to take control. They learn to deal with travel, holidays and the stresses of life as working professionals. His own injuries, combined with vast experience coaching injured clients has given him a huge foundation of knowledge in modifying exercise and movement patterns in order to provide maximum results.
A summa cum laude graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, he combines his work experience with a love of fitness and serving others to help clients build systems unique to their situation that build muscle, remove fat and enhance their enjoyment of life while ensuring their daily routine provides results that last a lifetime.
